Lucille Cooke was born in February 1923 in Rochester, NY. She grew up on Alphonse Street with her parents and sister Cecelia and attended Nazareth High School.
In 1945 Lucille married Robert Cooke. They were blessed with two sons, Bill and Jim. Lucille and Robert were married for 47 years before he passed away. Currently Bill lives in New York City and Jim lives in Rochester. Her extended family includes her niece Sherry and nephew Richard.
Lucille has always been a hard worker. She was employed as District Manager for a specialty advertising company for 35 years.
She sold pens, calendars, executive gifts and many other products that could be imprinted with a logo or company name for promotional purposes.
Lucille has always been full of life. She loves to sing and dance and enjoys playing cards. For many years Lucille sang in the church choir. The church has been an important part of her life.
A reception was held in her honor on October 30th.
